Job Description

Role Summary

The Sales Performance Supervisor is responsible for measuring, analyzing, and communicating the performance of FiberX’s consumer sales function in Basra. This role owns the data infrastructure behind sales decisions — overseeing the Performance Analyst and Reporting Officer to ensure that all sales channels are tracked accurately, KPIs are visible to leadership, and insights are translated into actionable recommendations. The supervisor serves as the analytical engine of the sales team, ensuring that every channel, team, and initiative is evaluated against clear benchmarks and that performance gaps are surfaced early.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Tracking & Analysis

  • Own the end-to-end tracking of sales performance across all consumer channels: direct sales, OSPs, shops, 3rd party, and maintenance.
  • Supervise the Performance Analyst in building and maintaining dashboards, scorecards, and KPI frameworks that give real-time visibility into team and channel performance.
  • Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators including subscriber acquisition, churn, ARPU, conversion rates, and channel contribution.
  • Identify performance trends, anomalies, and root causes, and present findings with clear recommendations to the Consumer Sales City Manager.
  • Conduct regular deep-dives into underperforming areas and work with relevant supervisors to develop corrective action plans.

Reporting & Data Management

  • Supervise the Reporting Officer in producing accurate, timely, and well-structured reports for internal stakeholders across daily, weekly, and monthly cycles.
  • Ensure data integrity across all sales reporting systems and sources — including CRM, ERP, and field reporting tools.
  • Standardize reporting templates and formats across the sales function to ensure consistency and comparability over time.
  • Manage ad-hoc reporting requests from the Consumer Sales City Manager and senior leadership.

Planning Support & Insights

  • Support the Consumer Sales City Manager and other supervisors in target-setting by providing historical data, benchmarks, and trend analysis.
  • Contribute to monthly and quarterly sales planning cycles with data-driven inputs and forecasting support.
  • Track the impact of campaigns, promotions, and sales initiatives and report on ROI and effectiveness.
  • Benchmark FiberX’s sales performance against industry standards and competitor activity where data is available.

Cross-Team Coordination

  • Act as the central data liaison between the sales function and other departments (finance, technical, customer care) to ensure aligned reporting.
  • Coordinate with the Consumer Sales Operations Supervisor and 3rd Party Sales Supervisor to collect accurate field data and ensure completeness of reporting inputs.
  • Provide performance briefings and summaries to supervisors to support team-level decision-making.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Data Analytics, Telecommunications, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 4–5 years of experience in sales analytics, business intelligence, performance management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with sales data, KPI frameworks, and reporting tools.
  • Experience in the telecom, ISP, or technology sector is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience managing or supervising an analyst or reporting team is required.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical mindset — able to interpret complex data sets and translate them into clear, actionable insights.
  • High proficiency in data tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, or similar reporting/visualization platforms.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present performance findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage competing reporting deadlines and prioritize under pressure.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline data is an advantage.
  • Collaborative team player who can work closely with field supervisors and senior leadership alike.
