The Junior Accountant will be responsible for accurately recording, reviewing, and organizing all type of transactions for the company. The role supports the furniture retail operations by ensuring timely and correct posting of supplier invoices, petty cash expenses, operational costs, and all other financial outflows.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Transactions Record & Data Entry

• Post all expense vouchers, supplier invoices, and operational expenses into the accounting system.
• Ensure all entries have proper supporting documents.
• Record petty cash Transactions and reconcile them regularly.
• Recording Bank Transactions.

2. Supplier & Vendor Transactions

• Review and verify supplier invoices before posting.
• Confirm pricing, quantities, and approvals when needed.
• Maintain an updated record of Accounts Payable/ Account Receivable.

3. Bank & Cash Operations Support

• Assist in preparing payment vouchers.
• Coordinate with the cashier for daily cash and bank updates.
• Support monthly bank reconciliations.

4. Documentation & Filing

• Organize and maintain filing of all transaction’s documents.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and audit requirements.

5. Month-End Closing Support

• Assist senior accountants in preparing financial reports.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Ensure all expense entries are posted on time.

6. Internal Coordination

• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, HR, and operations on expense matters.
• Follow up with departments for required documents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 0–2 years of accounting experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; ERP knowledge is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail.
