Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals.

• Prepare and review daily, monthly, and annual financial statements.

• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing.

• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

• Ensure compliance with Iraqi accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

• Support audits by preparing required documentation and reports.

• Collaborate with operations and HR departments to align financial processes with company activities.

• Monitor expenses and provide cost-control recommendations.

• Prepare payroll-related financial entries in coordination with HR.

Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Proven experience (2–4 years) in general accounting, preferably in logistics, transportation, or service industries.

• Strong knowledge of Iraqi tax laws and financial regulations.

• Proficiency in accounting software (ERP systems) and MS Excel.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

• Good communication skills in Arabic and English.
