Al Mutaa Company for General Trading, Contracting & Petroleum Services Ltd. is seeking a highly experienced Pipeline Construction Manager to lead pipeline construction works for major oil & gas field projects. This role requires a strong field leader capable of managing full pipeline construction activities from site preparation to hydrotesting and commissioning, ensuring safe execution, high construction quality, and compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all pipeline construction operations at site.
• Supervise activities including ROW preparation, trenching, pipe stringing, welding, NDT inspection, coating, lowering-in, backfilling, hydrotesting, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, HSE, and project management teams.
• Ensure construction activities comply with project specifications, API/ASME standards, and client requirements.
• Manage site engineers, supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors.
• Monitor construction progress, productivity, and resource utilization.
• Enforce HSE standards and safe work practices across the project site.
• Coordinate inspections and testing with QA/QC teams and client representatives.
• Report construction progress and resolve technical challenges during project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in pipeline construction projects.
• Proven experience in oil & gas pipeline installation (carbon steel pipelines).
• Strong knowledge of pipeline welding, NDT, coating systems, hydrotesting, and commissioning.
• Demonstrated experience leading large site teams in EPC projects.
• Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills. Preferred
• Experience working in Iraq oilfields.
• Experience with international oil companies (IOC) projects.
• Familiarity with automatic pipeline welding systems and modern construction methods.
