Mission of the job

The essence of this role is to ensure sound financial and business planning for the Asiacell. Whether it’s tracking the financial performance or modelling business scenarios. The role will aid the management with making informed strategic decisions. The person responsible will act as the nerve center for the entire Company and should be well informed and also have the ability to see the bigger picture.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  •   Monthly/Quarterly Reporting of Financial results to Ooredoo group (OG) and top management to complete on time as per the SLA timelines. Reporting includes the variance report at company level, BU’s level, and Cost optimization exercise.
  •   Forecast, AOP and Business Plan preparations (including Quarterly, Half Yearly, Strategy Workshop forecasting where applicable) in the agreed timelines and ensuring the figures that are logical and correct
  •   Completion of AOP budgeting tool on time with the corrected figures
  •   To review and ensure the post launch analysis for products and business cases are prepared correctly based on their Business Case commitments
  •   Other Adhoc Tasks including the Budgeting/actuals info request from other dept.’s and OG
Requirements
  • Professional/Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
  • Master’s degree would be a plus
  • Overall experience of 8+ years, having minimum experience of 2 years or more within Finance planning & analysis,
  • Prior experience of telecom industry would be a plus
