Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic business development specialist & sales representative to join our team in Basra. This is a full-time, on-site position focused on identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and executing effective sales strategies. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business growth and maintaining strong client relationships in the Basra region.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and qualify leads through inside and outside sales efforts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Meet and exceed sales targets and performance goals.
• Deliver tailored insurance solutions based on client needs.
• Maintain a deep understanding of URIIC’s services and market position.
• Work independently while managing multiple projects effectively.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in the insurance sector
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build long-term relationships with clients and companies in the Basra governorate
• Self-driven and goal-oriented
• A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with the insurance industry is an advantage.
• A valid driving license is preferred.
