Job Description
Job Role
To perform routine maintenance and minor repair work related to carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems within company facilities, ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained workplace
Job Responsibilities
- Carry out simple Facilities tasks
- Follow a straightforward mandatory procedure to ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards and/or to ensure adherence to external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct
- Follow basic mandatory work instructions (including use of personal protection equipment where relevant) to safeguard the environment and the well-being of self and others.
- Organize own work schedule each day in line with changing priorities
- Perform basic tasks in technical troubleshooting, such as identifying evident technical issues with equipment and experiments and assisting in basic diagnostic actions
- Perform simple visual and physical checks to verify that specifications are met.
Education
Secondary Education
Certification from a vocational school
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience:
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in general facility maintenance, preferably in a corporate or industrial environment
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
