*Main Responsibilities and Duties*
– Develop and implement a comprehensive government relations and sales strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives and growth plans.
– Build, strengthen, and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders across ministries, agencies, and other governmental bodies.
– Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with government clients through tenders, direct sales, and partnership models.
– Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, bids, and contracts, ensuring compliance with all government procurement and regulatory requirements.
– Monitor and analyze market trends, government policies, and funding priorities to anticipate opportunities and inform decision-making.
– Manage, mentor, and develop a team of government relations professionals, fostering a high-performance and results-driven culture.
– Coordinate with internal departments (Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Operations) to ensure efficient delivery of solutions to government clients.
– Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure and report the effectiveness of government relations and sales activities.
– Ensure full compliance with legal, contractual, and ethical standards related to government engagements.
– Represent the company in meetings, forums, and events related to government affairs and partnerships.
*Education and Training/ Experience*
– Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Public Administration, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
– Minimum 8 years of experience in business development, sales, or government relations, including at least 3 years in a leadership role focusing on government sales or B2G engagements.
– In-depth understanding of government procurement processes, public sector dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
– Proven experience managing end-to-end government contract cycles and relationship management at a senior level.
