Job Description
We are expanding our operations with a new branch in Basra and are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR & Admin Specialist to support both human resources and administrative functions. The role covers recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration, employee records, and office administration, ensuring compliance with company policies and smooth day-to-day operations while serving as the main point of contact for employee queries.
Responsibilities and Duties
1-Manage end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes
2-Coordinate onboarding for local and expatriate employees, including documentation and relocation support
3-Maintain employee records and HR documentation (hard & soft copies)
4-Prepare and manage monthly payroll, including attendance, overtime, and deductions
5-Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of payroll data using HR systems (Odoo)
6-Handle employee terminations, exit interviews, and offboarding procedures
7-Coordinate travel bookings, including flights and approvals
8-Maintain HR reports, dashboards, and organizational documentation
9-Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and labor laws
Required Qualifications
1-Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
2-Minimum 5 years of HR experience (payroll experience required)
3-Strong knowledge of HR processes, labor laws, and HR systems
4-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
5-Excellent English and Arabic skills (Kurdish is a plus)
6-Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
