Job Description

Provide field and onsite technical support for network infrastructure and low-current systems including structured cabling, access control, surveillance cameras, and basic electrical and UPS equipment to ensure continuous operation of company branches and offices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Network & Cabling

·        Installation and routing of network cables (UTP / Cat6 / Fiber where required).

·        Crimping, termination, and testing of network outlets (RJ45) and patch panels.

·        Installing data sockets, patch panels, and network racks.

·        Organizing and labeling cabling according to company standards.

·        Troubleshooting physical network connectivity issues.

2. Access Control Systems

·        Installation and maintenance of door access systems (card reader / fingerprint / face recognition).

·        Adding and removing users and permissions.

·        Diagnosing reader, controller, and lock malfunctions.

3. CCTV & Surveillance Systems

·        Installation and alignment of IP and Analog cameras.

·        Configuring NVR/DVR recording devices.

·        Monitoring camera operation and storage status.

·        Troubleshooting camera connectivity, PoE switches, and recording failures.

 

4. Power Systems

·        Installation and basic maintenance of Invertor  .

·        Replacing batteries and checking battery health.

·        Connecting IT equipment to UPS and organizing power distribution.

5. Basic Electrical Work

·        Handling simple electrical connections related to IT equipment.

·        Installing power sockets for network racks and cameras.

6. Support & Field Work

·        Visiting branches to install or repair IT and low-current equipment.

·        Assisting in office relocations and new branch setups.

·        Reporting faults and documenting completed work.

·        Coordinating with vendors and service providers when required.

Required Skills

·        Knowledge of structured cabling and network hardware.

·        Familiarity with CCTV and access control systems.

·        Ability to use testing tools (LAN tester, multimeter).

·        Basic computer and networking troubleshooting.

·        Ability to work onsite and outside office when needed.

Qualifications

·        Technical Diploma or Institute (IT, Electronics, Communications, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.

·        1–3 years experience in IT support, cabling, or low-current systems (preferred).

·        Ability to climb ladders and perform installation work.

·        Organized and able to document tasks.

·        Able to respond to urgent technical issues.

Work Environment

·        Office and field work across company branches.

·        May require after-hours support during installations or outages.
