About the Role
DHL Express Iraq is seeking a dedicated and experienced Security & FFM Manager to oversee all security operations and First Failure Management activities across our facilities and operational network. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a secure environment, ensuring regulatory compliance, and safeguarding our people, assets, and customer shipments.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of DHL security policies, global standards, and operational procedures across the Iraq network.
• Manage all aspects of physical security, including facility access control, CCTV performance, alarm systems, security personnel oversight, and emergency response readiness.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, security audits, and compliance reviews to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures.
• Oversee FFM processes, ensuring prompt investigation of incidents, accurate reporting, and timely preventative actions to reduce operational failures.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Operations, Network Control, and Aviation Security, to ensure end-to-end process integrity.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and external security partners.
• Lead security training programs, awareness initiatives, and crisis management exercises for staff.
• Prepare and present routine performance reports, incident analyses, and risk updates to senior management.
• Act as the focal point for security-related escalations, ensuring swift and effective resolution while maintaining business continuity.

Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate security, aviation security, logistics, or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of international security standards, regulatory requirements, and risk management frameworks.
• Proven experience in managing investigations, audits, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in dynamic operational environments.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
