Job Title: Senior Accountant

Core Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Experience: 5+ years in corporate accounting, with expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and ERP systems.

Soft Skills: Analytical rigor, stakeholder communication, and process optimization.

Strategic Responsibilities:

1. Financial Governance & Compliance

• Ensure 100% compliance with Iraqi tax laws and financial regulations.
• internal/external audits and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain audit-ready records and enforce internal controls.

2. Financial Reporting & Decision Support

• Deliver monthly/quarterly financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow).
• Provide data-driven insights to senior management for cost optimization and growth.
• Develop budget forecasts and track variances.

3. Operational Accounting Leadership

• Oversee AP/AR, payroll, and reconciliations with zero discrepancies.
• Streamline accounting processes using automation tools.
• Manage cash flow, vendor payments, and collections.

4. Tax & Regulatory Oversight

• File accurate tax returns and liaise with authorities.
• Mitigate risks through proactive tax planning.

5. Team & System Coordination

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Procurement, Operations).
