Job Description

Tasks

  • Support our maintenance technical team to keep a continuous supply of mechanical and electrical spare parts, equipments, and construction needs for open projects and technical site intervention service.
  • Develop favorable payment terms, delivery time, and shipping method etc.
  • Validate and confirm with the technical office and technical staff the quantity and specifications required per RFQ.
  • Negotiate and finalize deals with all suppliers/subcontractors.
  • Issue POs / Contracts as per agreed-upon terms and conditions with the exact milestones/payment terms.
  • Act as Contract Administrator until final delivery of the project.
  • Update and evaluate regularly the “Suppliers’ master data file” & ensure that all new suppliers comply with the Company code of conduct and policy.
  • Prepare monthly reports of RFQ and Vendor Performance every year.
  • Maintain an efficient filing system for all RFQ and suppliers’ offers and data, for tracking and reporting.
  • Prepare a project procurement plan in coordination with the project managers.
  • Send RFQ to the selected suppliers (three suppliers if applicable).
  • Negotiate prices with suppliers to reach the best price, delivery time, and Quality, also prepare a detailed Quotation Comparison Report.
  • Get feedback from Purchasing & Logistics about supplier performance
  • Evaluate each supplier’s performance and submit a vendor evaluation report to the Technical Procurement Team Leader.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in procurement, with a minimum of 5 years within the manufacturing industry, is a must.
  • In-depth knowledge of local procurement regulations and market trends.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and tools for procurement management
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, and a professional SAP User.
