Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Service Manager to lead and oversee the Service Department operations, ensuring high levels of performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Service Operations

Monitor service performance and take corrective action when targets are not achieved.
Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
Ensure accurate recording of parts usage, service time, job costing, and invoicing.
Control materials and parts purchases to ensure profitability.
Cost Control
Maintain daily workshop timekeeping and productivity records.
Monitor labor hours to achieve efficiency and productivity targets.
Control departmental expenses in line with approved budgets.
Review management accounts regularly and compare performance against targets.

Customer Service
Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
Reduce customer complaints by improving service quality standards.
Develop and motivate staff to achieve strong performance results.

Personnel Management
Determine staffing requirements to meet operational objectives.
Recruit, train, and develop Service Department employees in coordination with management authority.

Administration & Compliance
Maintain strict safety and security procedures for customers, staff, and company property.
Manage warranty processes in a cost-effective and compliant manner.
Review outstanding special order parts on a weekly basis.
Report departmental performance, concerns, and system issues to the Aftersales Manager.

Communication
Advise the Aftersales Manager on all service-related matters.
Maintain strong professional relationships with other department managers.
Provide technical guidance and support on mechanical and diagnostic issues.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Proven experience in the retail motor industry.
Strong technical and engineering knowledge.
Leadership and team management skills.
Solid understanding of vehicle design, legislation, and industry practices.
Ability to manage administrative systems, financial resources, and operational controls.
Strong communication, numeracy, and organizational skills.
Fluency in Kurdish and English is mandatory. Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
